What our customers say

We (Leroy and Helen Queen, my parents) had our leaky roof replaced by HEP at the end of July 2019. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish: from Joshua who recommended HEP for our roofing needs, to Jason our Sales Rep who measured and then inspected the finished work, to Chris in the office who helped us with the financing, to the crew of men that came out and did a marvelous job removing, installing, and then tidying up afterwards. We were mightily impressed; they worked so quickly. We highly recommend giving HEP a call for your roofing needs based on our own experience with them. They all worked really hard and quickly to get us a new roof; something we very greatly appreciate. Thanks HEP!

HEP was prompt in getting our job estimated and starting work. We had them replace a patio roof and perform some other minor repairs on the roof. They came out on Saturday, and Jason walked through everything, explaining the rationale behind his recommendations. They were exactly in line with existing recommendations from our home inspection, so I had confidence that he was giving his honest opinion and not just trying to upsell. Due to a clerical error, they removed our entire roof by accident, but replaced it at no cost. They immediately notified me when this happened and got it rectified right away. They were honest and transparent through the whole process. After the completion of the work, I notified them of a couple of punch list items and they knocked them out quickly without me having to pester or make a scene like you would with a less reputable contractor. This is the kind of contractor that you keep around. Reliable, easy to contact, responsive, and honest. I am a very independent DIYer, but if I can't do it, my first call will definitely be to HEP. . Thanks Jason and everyone at HEP.

HEP is by far one of the best companies, of any kind, I've ever dealt with. We've had HEP replace our HVAC system and just signed contracts with them for some major plumbing repair and a new roof. In our experience with HEP, we've found that they do everything, and they do everything really well. Which is great for us because we don't have to waste any time going through the giant pain process of finding contractors and then finding out if we can trust them. With HEP, the whole experience is like working with your brothers and sisters. Everyone we've met has gone out of their way to make us feel like we're part of their family. To me, the kind of quality service you get from that kind of a business relationship is worth its weight in gold. Thank you, HEP!

We called Hep for a leaking roof. They were quick to respond and when they came out took photos to show us what needed to be done. The mgr. who had come out to evaluate the job came back to ensure everything he told us was to be done would be done. He checked out the job and we felt secure knowing everything was checked on to have been done correctly and what wasn't was redone right. Would definately reccommend Hep for roof work.

Roof Replacement in Delano: Why Quality Matters

Delano’s climate, with its warm summers, occasional heavy winds, and seasonal rain, places continuous stress on residential and commercial roofs. A worn or damaged roof can compromise insulation, allow moisture intrusion, and reduce the overall value of a property. HEP understands the local climate patterns and building codes, delivering roof replacement solutions engineered for long-term durability. By relying on premium materials, certified crews, and a meticulous installation process, the company helps homeowners and building managers in Delano protect their structures, possessions, and occupants from preventable damage.

Key reasons a roof replacement delivers value in Delano

  • Prevents costly interior repairs caused by leaks or mold
  • Enhances curb appeal and property resale value
  • Ensures compliance with state and municipal building regulations
  • Improves energy efficiency through upgraded underlayment and ventilation
  • Provides a reliable barrier against high ultraviolet exposure and thermal cycling

Signs You Need a New Roof

Recognizing the early indicators of roof failure can avert structural compromise. HEP’s roofing specialists look for specific red flags during inspections, but property owners can also keep watch for these common issues:

Visual clues from the ground or attic

Roof Color and Reflectivity Choices

Color affects more than aesthetics; it can alter energy efficiency and neighborhood cohesion.

Cool colors and Solar Reflectance Index

  • Light hues and specially formulated granules reflect a higher percentage of solar radiation
  • Reduced attic temperatures lessen air-conditioning demand during Delano’s hottest months
  • Select shingles qualify for cool roof credits under local green building initiatives

Aesthetic integration with neighborhood design

  • Earth tones blend seamlessly with stucco facades common in the region
  • Bold, contrasting shades highlight architectural accents like dormers and cornices
  • HEP provides samples and digital renderings allowing property owners to visualize final outcomes

Seasonal Roof Care Checklist

Dedicating a few hours each season to routine care extends a roof’s lifespan and preserves warranty coverage.

Spring and summer tasks

  • Remove accumulated pollen and dust using low-pressure washing where applicable
  • Verify sealant integrity around skylights after thermal expansion cycles
  • Inspect solar panel mounts (if present) for secure attachment points

Fall and winter preparations

  • Clear roof valleys of falling leaves to ensure unobstructed drainage paths
  • Check attic ventilation blockers such as bird nests or insulation shifts
  • Review fastener tightness on metal roofs to curb panel rattling in seasonal winds

By adhering to a disciplined maintenance calendar, Delano property owners preserve the craftsmanship delivered by HEP and avoid avoidable repairs over the roof’s service life.
