FAQs

What does your workmanship guarantee cover?

Our workmanship guarantee covers every aspect of the labor we perform—deck preparation, flashing, fastener placement, shingle alignment, ventilation setup, and clean-up. If a leak, blow-off, or any other roof problem occurs because something was installed incorrectly, we return to your Greenback property, diagnose the issue, and fix it at no cost to you for parts or labor.

How long does the workmanship warranty last for roofs installed in Greenback?

We back every full replacement roof with a 15-year workmanship warranty, which is well above the state minimum. For repairs, we provide a 5-year workmanship warranty on the specific area serviced. Both begin on the date the final inspection is signed off.

Does the workmanship guarantee transfer to the next homeowner if I sell my house?

Yes. The warranty is fully transferable one time within the first five years. Simply let us know in writing within 60 days of closing so we can update our records with the new owner’s information. After transfer, the warranty remains in force for the balance of the original term.

How does your workmanship guarantee differ from the manufacturer’s material warranty?

The material warranty—usually 25–50 years—comes from the shingle or metal manufacturer and covers defects in the roofing products themselves. Our workmanship guarantee is separate and specifically protects you against installation errors. If both a material defect and an installation error were to occur, we coordinate with the manufacturer so you never deal with finger-pointing.

What should I do if I notice a leak or other roof issue after installation?

Call us right away or submit a service request on our website. We respond to workmanship-related calls within 24 hours and schedule an inspection within 72 hours. If the problem is covered, we repair it at no charge. If it’s storm or impact damage that falls under insurance, we’ll document the issue to help with your claim.

Are there any maintenance requirements to keep the workmanship guarantee valid?

Normal homeowner maintenance—such as keeping gutters clear, trimming overhanging branches, and preventing moss build-up—is expected. Damage from neglect, animal intrusion, or extreme weather (wind over 60 mph, hail over 1.5 inches, tornadoes) is not covered. We recommend a quick visual check each spring and fall; however, professional maintenance is not required to keep the warranty in effect.
